The past few weeks have been great! One week of soup making and another of holidays! But now we’re back in action, making two soups a week. With those soups comes prep work. Old pics incoming!

So anyways, today I’m writing to you for two reasons: one, is to let you know that this Friday, January 14th.. we will be delivering amazing soup. Not just good soup, not just great soup.. but amazing soup. And you know what? You can totally order some of the soup. It’s true you can. Where? On our website or over the phone. That’s right.

Our vegetarian soup this week is Curried Butternut Squash with Roast Almonds (few less Almonds this time) and our meat soup will be a nice light Turkey Rice Soup. They both taste great, and are good for you! More info below.

And of course the other reason I am writing is to let you know that the Winnipeg Foundation will be hosting a festival called: Our Great Community. A festival to showcase Winnipeg’s charitable/non-profit sector. There will be performances/presentations throughout the day, free refreshments and free admission to the museum for the whole day. Come check it out this Sunday, January 16th!

We at Soup Bee have been busy as ever creating new soups and testing recipes for the weeks to come, it’s been a lot of fun. A lot of.. tasty fun..

Our new soups are now posted with brief descriptions on our website’s Order Now page, along with some ingredient lists.

Hello. We at the Soup Bee are having such a good day today. Why? Because we are SO excited to start offering more to you (our lovely customers/soon to be customers).

More? That’s right. We’re now adding an additional soup per week for the meat lovers out there. Additionally we will be adding bread to the menu as an order option via our website! The bread will be provided by Bread and Circuses, baked fresh that morning. Orders will consist of two large slices for just $0.95!

I know, I know. It’s a lot to handle. But change is good! However with these fantastic changes, we are also changing the price of our meat soups, up to $11.00 from $10.00. Meat is expensive

But! As a bonus to those who are subscribed to receive soup, the cost for the meat option will be the same as the vegetarian option. WOAH!! FOUR DOLLAR SAVINGS! What to do with the money saved.. buy some bread perhaps? (genius..)

Remember, if you are ordering please have your orders in by Tuesday before 5pm. You can order as far in advance as you like.
